Contribuiți la feedbackWhen I made the reservation, I mentioned being vegan. the personal was so nice and accommodating. the waitress immediately mentioned that I am vegan before we even looked at the menu and showed all their options without having to ask. they even offered to make out of that for me. I've been crying for a starter, that was the best brot I've ever had in my whole life. next were the pommes - some of the best I had, and that says a lot because I always get rid of when available. the Pita sandwich I got was great- not amazing because of the vaccinated fillings, but the pita itself was great. I skipped the desert because I was so full. . . monitoring of the updates as 1/27/18 my experience was different this time. my friend and I loved going here because they were so courteous and friendly. I have always feared that I will appear like a last in other restaurants, but the waiters have made me feel that it was no problem at all. the friendliness and enthusiasm was not really present this time, and I felt guilty to ask about vegan options that the waitress could not know and she had to go out of her to ask the cook. I ordered the Veg plate 18) with sunshake, fries and roasted root vegetables. friends were much different than the last two times. they were thinly cut and excessively salted, such as pommes of mcdonalds or steak n shake. that was nice. we ordered a side sourded bread and it wasn't very good, but it was worth $4. we will, of course, still come back, but as they have new management, the training was probably not the same.
When I made the reservation I mentioned being vegan. The staff were SO nice and accommodating. The waitress immediately mentioned me being vegan before we even looked at the menu and pointed out all of their options without me needing to ask. They even offered to make things off-menu for me. I got the wheat bread for an appetizer, which was the best bread I've ever had in my entire life. Next were the fries- some of the best I've had, and that's saying a lot because I always order fries when available. The pita sandwich i got was great- not amazing due to the skimpy fillings, but the pita itself was awesome. I skipped desert because I was so full. . . . REVIEW UPDATE AS OF 1/27/18 My experience this time was different. My boyfriend and I used to love to go here because they were so accommodating and friendly. I'm always scared that I will seem like a burden at other restaurants, but the waiters made me feel like it was no issue at all. The friendliness and enthusiasm wasn't really present this time around, and I felt guilty for asking about vegan options, which the waitress wasn't knowledgeable about and she had to go out of her way to ask the chef. I ordered the veg plate $18) with sunchokes, pommes frittes, and roasted root vegetables. Fries were much different than they were the past 2 times. They were thin cut and overly salted, kind of like fries from McDonalds or Steak N Shake. The vegetables were great. We ordered a side of sourdough bread and it wasn't very good, but worth $4. We'll still be returning of course, but since they got new management I guess the training wasn't the same.
The food was exceptional, with very fresh ingredients, and the service was excellent. The restaurant had a lovely interior and exterior. We stumbled upon this place after a hike and it made our Sunday afternoon memorable.
The restaurant is gorgeous, but we were seated over 35 minutes past our reservation time. I don't understand the delay in keeping to their schedule.
The service was excellent and the ambiance was nice. The food was delicious, but you may want to try the cheeseburger as it stands out with its pretty presentation.
