The Sushi Shop - Palmerston North

This is my favorite sushi restaurant in New Zealand! They have a wide variety of vegan and vegetarian options that I absolutely love.

Love visiting this sushi place whenever I'm in or around palmy. Last time I was here was more than 2 years ago and I was very happy to find that not much has changed, aside from some new pieces available. Loved the Vege Rice triangle shaped one!!

This place and staff are so amazing! I went in today to order lunch for me and some family back at home so I usually order A LOT! I had been paid last night at around 10pm so I expected the money to be in my account by then.much to my confusion it wasn't there. The staff were amazing when dealing with me they allowed me to come back later and pay which I was sooooo grateful for, the money then popped into my account 30 minutes later so I rushed down to pay. I would like to say a huge thank you to the workers for entrusting me enough that they allowed me to pay later! You guys are awesome! Highly recommend this sushi shop, they are so kind and friendly! Oh and so understanding!!!

Range is a little limited but the options are delicious, fresh, and well made. Fast and courteous service. More aimed toward takeaway than dine-in, though there is some seating. Reasonable pricing with regular makizushi options starting from $1.40 A standard well above most sushi places in Palmy.

They offer a nice variety of vegan dishes. The food is decent, but nothing outstanding.
