The Coffee Club - Palmerston North

This was my first time at Palmy Coffee Club and it definitely made a lasting impression on me. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, even though they were close to closing time. They had no problem serving us quickly. Thank you!

I was initially hesitant about dining at this restaurant due to the mixed reviews. However, after my first visit 6 weeks ago, I have returned over 10 times since then. I have been exploring the menu, trying something different each time. My favorite so far is the potato Rosti with bacon. The coffee is consistently good and served quickly. The food is usually served promptly, depending on how busy the restaurant is. I highly recommend this place, with friendly staff as a bonus.

I had a wonderful dining experience at a restaurant with a lovely view overlooking the Square. The Coffee Club food was very good, especially the special egg Benedict on potato hash brown - absolutely delicious! The service was efficient and incredibly friendly. I will definitely be returning when I am back in Palmerston North.

I wasn't sure what to expect after reading the past reviews on this place. But I was pleasantly surprised. Service was wonderful, we dined on Labour Day and I wonder if it was the owner working short haired friendly lady with glasses. Anyway she was great, I asked her a few questions about the calamari on their menu as I had been burned in the past ordering calamari and being presented with frozen shaped fishy muck. She assured me their calamari was fresh cut out the back and dusted with their lemon pepper coating. I was sold and it did not disappont! Tender rings, very tasty and a real treat. Meal came with fries and was good value for money. She wandered over to our table later and had a chat to us, she was lovely. Hot chocolate was very good too, nice and sweet with marshmallows. Really happy with all aspects of our visit and will come back.
