Hanamizuki Japanese - Palmerston North

Hands down my all time favourite Japanese restaurant, been a regular for the past 1O plus years, it never disappoints the food is fantastic, great favours the sizzling prawns are a stand out dish with the famous secret sauce. Relaxed dining a crowd pleaser. Will keep coming back each time I visit my friends love our catch up the delicious food. Wish we could transport this restaurant to the bay. 10/10 to Patrick the owner.

The food here is fantastic! Patrick consistently impresses us with his incredible cooking. The staff, including Elaine, are very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is laid-back and relaxing, featuring a lovely Japanese vibe. The desserts are delicious and a perfect way to cleanse the palate after a meal. I absolutely love the Apple Tempura, but the Apple Spring Roll is also delightful. It's not overly sweet, and the crunch from the batter combined with the apple adds great texture, making it an exciting dish. I highly recommend this place! Don't bother asking what to try—everything is delicious! You really must sample it all!
