Carl's Jr.

09-AUG-15 : As far as burger places goes, Carl's Jr is up there. Just wish they were in Australia. Enjoyed the Monster Breakfast Toasted Sandwich combo which includes coffee and Hash Rounds today. Yum!

Enjoyed every moment. Loved the Caramel Milkshake. Friendly snd fast service.

My fiancee and I live in Wellington so drove up especially one weekend to try out the burger that was being advertised for a limited time. I can't recall it's exact title but it had bourbon sauce. So I had that and it was just divine. My fiancee had the avocado or guacamole thickburger (photos added), which was also just as good. We both had fries which didn't initially look much different from the likes of McDonald's or Burger King (and aren't usually something I favour) but these ones had a different, rather pleasant potato skin flavour. We just had standard soft drinks but from what we saw of the milkshakes, are tempted to try them next time. We did try the chilli cheese fries they could have done with more chilli and cheese on them but they were tasty. I doubt we would get them again though. We didn't think the service was any better or worse than any other such store of its type so don't really have anything to say there. We don't really expect 5 star service in a takeaway chain anyway. But the place then was relatively new, so clean tidy, but perhaps had some inexperienced staff. The burgers are huge and delicious, which is all that matters for us... EAT LIKE YOU MEAN IT!

Had the bourbon burger and gotta say this is the best burger I've eaten in a while. Service was good too,just wish they had one of these in wgtn!

I have been to Carl's Jr twice now and both times the food and service was excellent especially considering it is a fast food restaurant it out shines the competition hands down. and there is a lot more options to choose from their cheese cakes are great. The chilly fries are nice and spicy but not over the top.The waiters are always smiling and very quick when you ask for something. Considering the price you pay for your food it is excellent
