While there I had the opportunity to watch the staff and mingle with the patrons in the Cafe. Many patrons who ordered coffees weren't served them in the Cafe's coffee cups but takeaway cups. Using the excuse that they had run out of cups when clearly there were cups sitting on their coffee machine! The Bacon Egg Muffin Split which I ordered was dry the egg and bacon was like rubber definitely not freshly made in the kitchen! When it was brought to my table the waitress dropped it on the floor. Apologized and said that she would get me a replacement. Well I wonder if she actually did... she returned 2 minutes later with a Bacon Egg Muffin Split. When I questioned this with a staff member I was told that it was a fresh one but not freshly made in the kitchen as all there produce is prepared beforehand.
Lovely people long time since we were at airport. Make lovely lattes
Your staff are total super stars as we were completely stuck with a major problem and they came to our rescue, amazing people
Overpriced horrible food and coffee. Couldn't get more basic $1 bread with 2 eggs $15 .....
Five minutes later, the young redhead who had taken my order brought me what looked like a squashed ham and cheese panini. I didn’t notice the mix-up right away, but eventually realized the mistake. I went back to speak with her, clarifying that I had ordered a "ham and cheese quiche" and kindly requested the correct dish. Instead of acknowledging the error, she became defensive and curtly insisted, “No! You ordered a ham and cheese croissant!” I was taken aback by her attitude. I replied, “I speak French and I know I didn’t order a 'croissant'—I wouldn’t mispronounce it like you just did.” Despite my efforts to explain, she stubbornly maintained that I had indeed ordered a "croissant." I was appalled but decided to wait for my quiche to be delivered to my table. When it still hadn’t arrived, I approached another staff member to express my concerns about the redhead’s lack of customer service skills and confrontational behavior. I appreciated her apology. Eventually, the redheaded employee came back with a brown paper bag, as my flight was now boarding. Assuming it contained my quiche, I made my way down the escalator. To my disbelief, she had placed yet another squashed croissant in the bag! I didn’t have time to confront her about this mix-up, but it was incredulous that she felt it was acceptable to argue with a customer about their order. The professional approach would have been to apologize for the misunderstanding and bring out the correct dish. Arguing with paying customers is absolutely unacceptable; it’s basic customer service etiquette. I was shocked by her dismissive attitude—she came off as a spoiled, entitled millennial.
