Beijing Big Hotpot Chinese

The food is good, although they do use MSG, which doesn't bother me as it's common in Asian cuisine. However, I found it to be a bit overpriced considering the quality and ambiance. The kitchen is open to the dining area, which adds to the experience. On the downside, the chairs and tables had a sticky feel, which some might find off-putting. It would be great if they could consider rearranging or revamping the dining area for an improved experience.

I visited this restaurant for takeout yesterday on my way home, and I had a great experience. The staff member was very helpful in guiding me through my choices, and the Chinese food was some of the best I've tasted in years! The dishes were beautifully prepared. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return!

Loved it. Second time I have been here and shared some pretty cool moments with friends. Staff were all super polite and always asked if we needed assistance. The kitchen got a bit backed up towards the end but staff apologized. I would happily come here again :

Hot Boat is an incredibly fun and interactive restaurant! I absolutely love this place! I was pleasantly surprised to discover such an authentic menu in Palmerston North. The staff and owner are so kind and welcoming—they even stayed open just for us! They never rushed us and patiently waited while we enjoyed our meal. Thank you so much! I truly appreciated it! This is definitely my favorite restaurant in Palmerston North by a long shot!
