The Rural Spoon Cafe - Palmerston

Great little place we stopped into on our way through. Delicious bread and the peameal bacon sandwich was great. Good service and prices. Would stop by again if I'm ever in the area.

We were going north on highway 23 and decided to turn into Palmerston for some lunch. I am glad we went by the Tim Hortons and found the Rural Spoon. I knew this was the place to eat because it was full and it had stools at the counter. The taco salad was excellant, the potato and bacon soup was great. All the meals looked wonderful and the service was great. Well worth the detour.

My wife had dinner there the day before I arrived. She wanted to go back for breakfast. That in itself speaks volumes!!!!! Breakfast was really good!!! If I'm ever back in Palmerston, I'll be eating breakfast at The Rural Spoon.

A very good breakfast can be had at Rural Spoon Cafe. We all got a small plate of fresh fruit. My western sandwich was fresh and delicious! They have moved to the Main Street, nicely decorated and lots of tables. We will return!!

While on our way to McGregor Point for the Huron Fringe Birding Festival, we stopped for lunch at the Rural Spoon. Beautiful little diner with clean lovely decor. Service was excellent, as was the food. Will certainly come back here next year!!
