Jimmy's Hot Dogs - Palmer

I always visit this restaurant when I'm in town to see my mom in New York. I've had no issues so far. I really enjoy the pickles. The cashier can be a bit rude sometimes, but overall, I still plan to keep coming back.

The best hot dogs on the planet, hands down! With a history spanning 100 years, this place truly embodies the idea that sometimes the simplest approach is the best. I've tried hot dogs all over the country, but none have come close to the quality of these.

We've always enjoyed Jimmy's hot dogs from time to time. However, we got six of them today, and I have to say they were the worst hot dogs we've ever had!

Because of how great we think their hot dogs are, its sad that we had such a bad experience. But we are so disappointed in the customer service of Jimmy's. The closing time is 7. I called at 6:28 because it was running close to ask if they would take an order over the phone and I would be there at close to 645, she said was abrupt and said sorry we don't do that but as long as you come in by 6:45 , we will take your order. Based on that, my husband raced over there and walked in the door at 6:44 on their clock) and she told him that she was closed while she was wrapping a big order for another customer. She said she was sick so she had to close. I understand things happen and people do get sick and for that, we felt bad, but that could have been told to me when I called the first time at 6:28 and maybe with a nice , apologetic tone to her voice. We would not have raced there expecting 6:45 still to be ok to place and order, less than 20 min from our conversation. Good customer service is a thing of the past . It makes all the difference and a cold and nasty attitude towards people that support a business is truly upsetting. Fortunately we found another local hot dog place that was just as good. We won't be back
