Thankfully, on this occasion, I never checked Trip Advisor reviews before ordering our food, which in our case was very fortunate indeed as we would have walked by. The restaurant was decent enough. It served a variety of food, but we chose two pizzas. A Mexican and tuna pizza, both a decent size, both freshly prepared and cooked well. They tasted lovely, no complaints here. They were priced at €11.20 each, which was a fair price for the area. The restaurant had an outdoor covered seating area, which is where we sat watching the world go by enjoying our lunch, which again was a decent lunch, decent food, and in a vibrant area. The only criticism I would say is that the soft drinks are quite pricey €4.50 for a glass of diet coke, but apart from that, we both thought this was not a bad little restaurant. In hindsight, I am pleased I never checked this restaurant out on reviews alone as we would have given it a miss, and that would have been a shame. I'm not sure why all the negative reviews, maybe change of ownership, change of chef, or quality of food, I am at a loss, but nevertheless glad we stopped by. It deserves an average rating.
Read the reviews after we had ordered, expected the worst but was pleasantly surprised by the good service and decent food. Maybe we got lucky but this place was actually really quite good for a lunch stop in a touristy area!
Here everything is terrible, starting with drinks then food and desert. Everything taste like plastic and is robably recooked or reheated. Don’t go (that s my opinion
I just saw the review now when I write this and I am very surprised. I went for dinner to eat a “bocadillo de bacon con queso” and it was the only restaurant that served it. The bread was good and crispy and also the tomatoes, bacon and cheese. Overall a good experience, it was exactly what I thought when I went to dinner in Palma. My daughter had Lasagne and wasn't done, but she's 6 years old and I'm sure she expected the dessert. The only thing is that my wife had a beer and asked her Iarge and she said yes and brought her a big stone of 1L beer, but was no problem because I helped her. Apart from that, everything was fine and I would definitely go back.
The food is good for the price. The spaghetti Carbonara and Lasagne were good. Great portions of food and drink, I got white wine for just a few € and it was a lot, more than a half of glass! The Sangria was too sweet for me. Honestly, this place deserves much better reviews. Let's remember that prices are the best in town!
