The Jumbo shrimp cocktail was delicious, and the best desert to get is the sticky fabric pudding not to be shared. The other dessert is the chocolate pot de créme very rich should definitely be divided. Greatest experience I had in the restaurant. Infinite
Mr Lyons was recommended to us by a very trustworthy source. So our expectations were high from the trip. Top Notch. Our selection included the Beet Salad, Prime Rib and Brussel Sprouts. All were of high quality. The dessert was bread pudding.... excellent taste. Service was great. The atmosphere here is original. Love the dimmed experience. Wine and cocktails were great. Shoutout to the big employees!
Sometimes you have the pleasure of experiencing a restaurant service that goes beyond expectations and norm. That was my pleasure when I last visited the Palm Springs Stack Mr. Lyons. An eloquent, friendly and professional hostess named: Mercedes, Insured that my wife and I are experiencing the kind of “Date Night” you only see in the movies. In fact, it was so satisfying and I would suggest adding their name to the restaurant. From here I refer to this place as Mr. Mercedes-Lyons. I highly recommend going here, the only regret you will experience is not the experience.
Cesar salad was so bad I could only eat a few bites. I ordered the end cut prime rib which was cooked medium rare, but the seasoning was bland. The au jus was bland as well. I’ve had better prime rib from a diner. Mashed potatoes were tasty, but on the verge of gluey. The cauliflower side had potential to be a good dish, but was poorly executed.
Don’t do it. Trust me. They were out of rib eye. The NY strip was mediocre. My friend’s scallops came out cold. We had to ask multiple times for our side dishes and one they completely forgot to even put the order in for. And the service didn’t make up for the average food- You expect professional level service at a place like this. The only thing not average was the price- they charge true steakhouse prices. Sadly disappointed. I take no pleasure in leaving a bad review but i do feel it is only fair to warn others.
