Booked an 8p reservation (an hour before closing) after also having confirmed by text notification that we were on our way, and was turned away when we got there. We were abruptly informed that the restaurant had “only prepared enough food for 20 tables”. If the case is you’re going to turn away diners wanting to eat at your restaurant, then you should at least not have reservations open or have a process to let people know before they get there. We wouldn’t have even gotten that much of an explanation, but I followed him in to make sure I wasn’t charged by OpenTable as a no-show (yes, they have the audacity to charge a booking hold for tables they don’t actually have). There was no “let’s make a reservation for you tomorrow”, or really anything to make us ever want to go back. I’m only giving two stars because I will say the food smelled good. Though it was later in the evening and a lot of restaurants close at 9, Rooster and the Pig down the street sat us right away for a great meal.

If you come to Palm Springs and crave Asian food, you must try it. Come and see. It's so good. Highly recommended Japanese home-cooked bento lunch box!!!
