Beautiful environment for a special night. service was excellent.

We enjoyed the weeping, trout, carpaccio and salmon we paired with a martinelli zink. server walter was professional and knowledgeable, which proved good guidance and attention, but never float. we ate early, so we enjoy the holiday paradise and it was a great evening from 4 saints, the dach of the kimpton.

I'm not a steak type, so I ordered the rib eye with trepidation. it melted in my mouth, and it was poured out with a Bernaise sauce that is common in Europe.

Starters were by far the best part of the meal. View was nice but not as outstanding as advertised. The server was apologetic for the bar delay in preparing drinks and for entree that was not good. He was quite good and did not charge us for the glitches. Nevertheless I would not go back other than for a drink on the roof.

We almost cancelled our reservation after reading recent reviews but I’m so glad we didn’t! The service was incredible, and our lead server (Scott) was attentive, knowledgeable and a delight. The food was outstanding- smoked trout was a moussed dip with goose made chips, beet salad was to die for, and the filet rounded out our shared meal. “Small plates” were enough- high quality ingredients and excellent portions on each course. We truly enjoyed our experience and expected the bill to be higher than it was. Definitely recommend.
