Contribuiți la feedbackJanuary '17: Went to the Outback Bowl yesterday, so we thought we 'd have dinner get our free appetizer (Bloomin Onion). Got there around 3:30PM; place was pretty-well filled by the time we left, maybe 4:45PM.<br/ <br/ We both had the chopped steak w/ sauteed onions mushrooms Cabernet reduction. Broiled perfectly, medium rare, loads of juiciness flavor. I substituted my smashed potatoes broccoli for chicken tortilla soup house salad w/ bleu cheese dressing. Neither triggered any upcharge, both were delicious. Soup has moderate heat, so request a dollop of sour cream if you 're spice sensitive (above 5). Blackberry sangria for $5.00 was awesome.<br/ <br/ Yudis, our waitress, was very accommodating, attentive, engaging. Total for two entrees, one Chardonnay, one sangria, one (complimentary) Bloomin Onion came to $45 (tax tip incl). Can 't use coupons or holiday gift card 'bonus cards ' w/ free app...Only ONE DISCOUNT allowed per meal/table.<br/ <br/ Note: I asked, was promptly told, why I can 't get a chopped steak cooked less than well done at any of travel-favorite Cracker Barrels. It 's not because of any EColi liability; it 's because of the quality of the meat (difference). Aha!<br/ <br/ Stopped by to take advantage of their 'unlimited shrimp ' special. It 's as advertised. I ordered the 5 oz sirloin, had 1 shrimp boat of scampy 2 bowls of fried (crispy), a bowl of southwest chicken tortilla soup as alternative SIDE (no upcharge), w/ bread loaf butter for $15.99. I greatly preferred the crispy shrimp, which were 26/31 count in my opinion, to the popcorn-sized shrimps in the scampy. Our waitress (Rashell) was engaging, attentive, candidly helpful. Total tab for two w/ beer wine Bloomin onion pedals came to less than $50, tax tip included.
Had a delicious dinner here. Tables were spread out, a nice touch, and the service was competent. All in the party had sirloins- different sizes. All were cooked properly and seemed to be very generously portioned. I would recommend this for a safe choice for dinner.
The Palm Harbor location is always busy. I definitely recommend calling ahead and getting your name on the waiting list. We ended up waiting for about 20 minutes for a table.
This recently remodeled Outback is a solid place for a low to mid price steak. The steak is typically great for the price. The staff here is always very attentive and managers are great. It is often quite busy and typically has a wait time of 15 45 minutes so plan accordingly.
We've ordered from here a few times during COVID and they are doing awesome at this time. I've ordered directly from their website as well as from Uber Eats and both ways, they've been great. I usually opt for a steak and sweet potato because it never disappoints. Whether you're going for their classic sirloin or a filet mignon, you can't go wrong. The spices that they put on it is always delicious. My only gripe with their steaks is that they're usually overcooked. I always order medium-rare and I tend to end up with medium-well, but it's really not THAT big of a deal for me for the price. Some people like their cinnamon butter with their sweet potato, but personally I prefer the honey butter. It's simple, but it's perfection. If you're looking for a good appetizer that isn't the Bloomin' Onion, I'd go for the fried mushrooms. They're awesome even if you save them for leftovers; just pop them in the oven and reheat them rather than the microwave. The sauce they serve with them is great. I'm not even really sure what's in it, but it tastes good, so I'm here for it. While yes, this is a chain restaurant, they still do great food. The food is usually delivered hot and I rarely have an issue regardless of which platform I use for delivery.
