An upscale Outback Steakhouse is what I 'd call this place. The ribeye for $65 is embarrassing. It was a $35 steak at best. Definitely select grade as it was thin and tenderized. For $65 youd expect at least choice if not prime. The escargot and the duck tacos were absolutely grotesque. The escargot was floating in a beef reduction with a puff pastry on top? What chef came up with this dish? The highlight of the night were the potatoes and asparagus that came with the steak. All in for 3 people with 2 drinks total for the table, and no dessert was $368. I don 't care paying even 1000 for a good dinner but I do not like getting subpar food for premium prices. I wish I went to Mortons next door. What a disappointment. We had a very nice dinner. There were interesting parts, but only the scallops elicited that Mmmm of delicious contentment. There were parts undone and parts too done. Instead of avant garde, maybe attention to quality ingredients and temperature integrity. Keep trying.
