Agave Grill and Bar - Palm Desert

The Agave Grill was ok. The service was good; our server was very pleasant. The food was ok nothing special. It was convenient since we were staying at the Westin.

Healthy options. A menu that appeals to a wide variety of tastes. We enjoyed our dinner in front of a cozy fire.

Food at the Westin's are always great, this one was overpriced and the food was not to the normal Westin standards. We got charged 19% gratuity because we had 6 and a baby in our party. The server never checked on us once, and when we left our plated were stacked up. Nice tip for no serve I might say. Also, there was only 3 other tables in the restaurant so it was not busy.

There were four in our party and we arrived early to our reservation. The receptionist was friendly and very accomodating. The menu had just what we were looking for and the cocktails were tasty. We felt the prices were very good considering the upscape setting. Our server was friendly, professional and attentive without being pushy. we really enjoyed our lunch and will definitely return for more lunches and or happy hours.

Food was marginal. It was quite disappointing to eat a place promoting itself as fine dining and walk into nothing more than a glorified spots bar. Loud TVs dominated the restaurant. It was also a terrible value. $35 for a single short rib? Highway robbery. Do yourself a favor, don’t eat here.
