Chill At Portofino - PALM COVE

I ordered the smashed avocado with mushrooms instead of feta, while my husband got the acai bowl, which was too sweet for my taste. Overall, my meal was delicious, but I felt that some of the menu options could use some adjustments.

I recently tried the treehugger breakfast at this restaurant and they were able to make it vegan by omitting the egg and cheese. They replaced them with mushrooms and also gave me a side of baked beans. I inquired about the pesto and the server confirmed it was vegan. The meal was tasty, although I found it to be not as filling as I had hoped. There was another dish that could have been made vegan, but it seemed to be a smaller portion. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and appreciated the laid-back and friendly servers. I gave the restaurant three stars due to the limited vegan options in Palms Cove. I later tried the pizza and found it to be pretty good, especially with vegan cheese. I have now increased my rating to four stars. While there is still no protein option, I felt the care put into the food.

The food was decent, but there are no additional options for removing animal products. The extras provided are small considering the price.

Limted vegan options as previously stated. Quite expensive for just some avo on toast with a side of beans and hash brown. Left here still hungry unfortunately. Staff were really nice tho.

The menu doesn’t clearly state vegetarian/vegan options and just promises to take care of dietary requirements. You’ll need to consult the staff to make the order. For vegetarians there are many options with pasta, gnocchi, pizza, caprese salad. Vegan options are limited to garden salad and vegetarian pizza with mozzarella swapped to vegan cheese. I enjoyed the dinner and the nice terrace, just wish there were more vegan options. Vegetarian pizza with vegan cheese was nice. Pumpkin made it taste quite sweet so leave it out if you prefer savory.
