A1a Burrito Works Taco Shop

I stopped by this restaurant on a whim, and I'm so glad I did! I ordered the works ground beef Mexican UFO, and it was delicious. Adding some Baja or hot sauce really took it to the next level. I also got ground beef tacos to go, prepared "knarley" and "kung fu" style, and wow, they were fantastic. The UFO was quite filling, so I only managed to take one bite of the taco just to sample it, and even with a full stomach, it was outstanding. The staff was incredibly friendly, the value was excellent, and my order was ready faster than I could respond to an email. I can't wait to go back!

We order from this restaurant frequently, and it’s usually quite good. However, they have a policy that prevents them from refunding items they forget to include in your order. Instead, they expect you to drive all the way back to pick it up or they’ll offer you a credit for a free item on your next visit. I'm skeptical about whether that will actually happen, and I’m certainly not willing to endure cold food just to make a round trip across town. They really need to improve their service when it comes to refunding items that weren’t packed.

It was a Friday, and I only had some one-dollar bills and a few coins since my paycheck wouldn't be available until later that night. When I took out the change to pay for my lunch, which was $8.50, I was met with disdainful looks because I was using dollar bills and quarters. It's not like I was rolling pennies across the counter! I had $6 in bills and 10 quarters, and in my opinion, money is money—it all spends the same way. Unfortunately, after I paid with change, the staff's attitude changed towards me, and I even overheard one of them say, "Don't worry about the tip." What does that mean? Who knows—I could have had a lot more to give if I wanted to. This is why it’s important for staff to treat customers well; after all, we are the ones buying their food. It's a simple exchange, so there's no need for negative attitudes. If someone doesn’t enjoy their job, they should consider finding a new one; there are plenty of people who would appreciate the opportunity. Aside from the service issues, the food was tasty, but the parking situation was a bit tricky as the lot was quite small. Overall, I would still give it four stars. Bravo, A1A Burrito Works!

I really love this place. 85% of the time it's on point. I would say depending on who makes the food is determining the position size . Other then that, food is always amazing!!!

The food is always really good here. The staff are friendly and it always smells so yummy inside. Their burritos are packed full. I love their style. Tonight I had the shredded beer burrito with The works as the style. It was really well presented and tasted just as good as it looked.
