Verdea Restaurant And Wine Bar

What an amazing restaurant located in the hotel where I’m staying! The food is top-notch, the wine selection is excellent, and the full-service bar is fantastic.

Great place and convenient location for a meeting, right off I-95.

However, we were somewhat confused about the restaurant's actual hours, as different websites—Yelp, Google, and the hotel website—all listed varying times. The hours printed on the gift certificate were also quite unusual. When we arrived at 7:15 PM, the door was closed, even though it was supposed to open at 7:00 PM. We went to the wine bar to inquire, and the bartender informed us that the restaurant should have been open. After returning to the restaurant entrance, we found that the door was now unlocked. The rest of our evening went smoothly, but again, it was surprising to be the only guests on a Saturday night. We ordered loaded potato wedges, meatloaf, turkey, and herb chicken. While the meatloaf was unfortunately overcooked and inedible, the rest of the meal was very enjoyable.

The pizza I had was average at best. The seats were also uncomfortable. I'm not even picky about that kind of thing but our legs were actually hurting before we even got our meal. Despite this, the service was good and the decor was very nice. I have no other complaints so 3 stars for an average experience. Nothing special.

Music was way too loud. Food was great. Service was excellent and very personable.
