Ironwood Steak Seafood At The Pga National Resort

During our three-day trip to Boston, my wife and I chose this restaurant and ended up having to reorder twice because they didn’t have several items on the menu. While I didn’t mind paying the prices, it felt absurd not to have what we wanted when we were spending a substantial amount of money for a getaway.

I had a quick two-night stay at the resort, and I was disappointed with the service across the board. Ironwood started off alright, but the service was lacking, and given the NYC prices, it just doesn't feel worth it. The restaurant wasn't full, yet our salads never made it to our table. The menu was quite average, and I expected much better since it's the only real restaurant at the resort. Overall, nothing stood out.

The restaurant was quite busy, but the waiter did his best to ensure we had an enjoyable dining experience. Although the appetizers took a long time to arrive, our main courses came out surprisingly quickly afterward.

The waiter was so bad, nothing went right. Waited 3/4 of an hour on a bottle of wine and then he came with a wrong one! Waited another 3/4 of an hour on the first course and then the next courses came right after each other! Three times we asked for the manager but the waiter just said he could not get hold of him. When we left we saw the manager and told him about the waiter, but our evening was already spoiled

Pre fix missed 1st course. Waiter could not keep orders straight. Steaks mostly the wrong temp. way to expensive for what we got on New Years Eve.
