The food remained almost exactly the same, no difference to me, and yes there is still free self-help ice cream here. There are other boonsik (korean casual street food) restaurants in the area, but this one is probably the longest running and a go to option for many.
My fiance and I recently started dining here since our eye doctor is nearby. This Korean restaurant specializes in street food and fast food. The best seller is the donkatsu which is pork cutlet smothered with a sweet gravy. There portions is on the larger size for every item here. They also serve dukbokkee which is tubular rice dough with a spicy pepper paste sauce. You can order the dukbokkee with fried veggies or korean blood sausage here, I've also tried the jjang jjangmein which is noodles in a dark black bean sauce with the spicy seafood soup. I also tried the kimchi fried rice with melted mozzarella cheese on top. Totowah accepts credit cards. They also give you a loyalty card for the donkatsu. I think its buy 10 get 1 free. There's free self serve ice cream for you to enjoy on your way out. But I never get to have any because I stuffed after the meal. This place is always busy. I would make a trip out of it and order a few dishes and share it with a couple of friends.I don't know how many Koreans are so skinny even though the food is so rich.
