Shaburo - Palisades Park

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet! I've been coming here every week for over a year or two, and it’s become a regular spot for me. The prices, quality, and service are consistently great. This place truly offers a "choose your own adventure" experience when it comes to meals; you can make it as unhealthy or as healthy as you like. There’s a wide variety of broths and meats/seafood to choose from, and they even have vegan options. Plus, it’s all-you-can-eat! I highly recommend coming here!

I had my first experience at an AYCE hot pot restaurant, and I really enjoyed it! The buffet-style setup offered a great variety of broth options, but what really made the visit worthwhile was the extensive selection of vegetables, dumplings, fish cakes, and sauces. It was genuinely exciting! Our service was good; our waitress took the time to explain everything to us. However, it did take a little while for the broth to be refilled, but it wasn't too long of a wait. The decor was simple yet quite Instagram-friendly. I left feeling full and satisfied. I even tried their delicious peachade before leaving. I would definitely go back!

The food was quite good and of high quality. The vegetables and sauces were served buffet-style and were enjoyable. The service was excellent, especially for our large group. However, I was a bit surprised by the tomato broth; it was spicier than I’m used to, as I typically prefer the sweeter Chinese version. Also, the tables felt a bit cramped.

Really great hot pot place! Tons of meat veggie and side options available along with good selection of broths (my favorite is Chinese Mala). On top of standard hot pot, they offer drinks like bubble tea and smoothies (extra cost) two different soft serve ice cream machines (included in AYCE). Highly recommend trying the vanilla and green tea swirl! Service was fast and efficient. Small restaurant but good for group of people. TIP: There's parking in the front and on the side.
