Chicken Marsala is my favourite pasta dish, and I have to admit Giovanni's is one of the best that I have ever had. The bite size mushrooms formed a magical chain reaction of flavour with the marsala sauce. The chicken was tender and slightly browned. My waitress was a sweet, older lady, whom I would like to thank for recommending the house tomato basil salad dressing. I have tried dipping salad kits into tomato basil can soup at home but it was nowhere close. I am sure this business would be a success if they open a location in Dallas. Unlike Austin, there isn't much competition among Italian restaurants here. Can't wait for next visit in Palestine to dine at Giovanni again. I was in town for a funeral, and this is where we dined for lunch. Sweet little spot, staff was absolutely amazing and everyone loved the food. Very much your classic Italian eatery.
