It was a quiet Wednesday evening. We were the first guests and served promptly. The hosts spoke enough English, and I enough basic Italian to get by. Prices are fair and the pizza was good second best quattro formaggi I've had!
If you want to taste typical Italian food in a nice atmosphere without being charged to much (party of 5 with entree, pizza, beverages paid EUR 80.00) you must go there!
During the summer this casual pizzeria sets up an outdoor dining deck. My favorite pizza here is the Mascarpone and Spinach its very rich, but so good! I also recommend the Stracciatella a creamy version of mozzarella. Service is usually not good but I really love it just the same.
We came across Nonna Nina's by accident while staying at Casena dei Colli. It was a short walk and we found the staff very friendly and accommodating. They offer antipasti, salads and pizzas. We ordered a salad and pizza which were both fabulous. Would highly recommend it if you are staying close by.
