The dishes prepared with great care are excellent in appearance and above all in taste. All fresh. I would have given more stars, but I only have available. Experience to be repeated absolutely
I ate a bit of everything from the menu. It was all delicious. A wine list is missing. Sweet is not the strong point. Fresh fish of the day all cooked to perfection, impeccable cook. Fast and dedicated service. Limited places allow more intimacy and greater dedication to the customer for quality and service. Fair prices in line with other fish restaurants. Super recommended!
A small restaurant, a family atmosphere and high quality cuisine! Nino and Antonia choose the best fish, they cook it working it as little as possible but with small touches of class (such as sardine balls with almonds and or shrimps marinated with pink pepper, to faint I celebrated my birthday at the Osteria del Mare. Apart from the ease in communicating with Nino who replies on whatsapp in a moment, the food was wonderful and the quantities generous! My French guests were speechless ... and the Sicilian ones too! Wines from local wineries. Competitive prices! The restaurant has recently opened, it is a project that I like and that I want to support! I will definitely be back! ... And often too !!
Intrigued by the reviews posted on the net, last Sunday we decided to have lunch at the Osteria del Mare. We were welcomed by Antonia who with sympathy and sense of hospitality immediately put us at ease.The local is simple but very nice, is inspired on the grounds of the sea. We tasted excellent appetizers, a special appreciation of the mussel soup prepared according to the right canons, followed by a first and a mixed fried in both cases with fresh fish, all prepared by Nino good and friendly chef who loves to compare and listen also to the customer's opinion. In conclusion we will return soon, highly recommended.
Small place found by chance while walking, greeted by a very kind girl, Antonia, who followed us amiably throughout the evening, together with the much appreciated culinary explanations of Nino (the cook). A fabulous dinner, starting with the appetizers: sardine meatballs, sardines al beccafico (off the menu) and a fabulous swordfish caponata. A mouth-watering shrimp and pistachio risotto, a giant and delicious stuffed squid, fritturina and mackerel fillet with very tasty pistachios. A wonderful surprise both for the goodness of the dishes and for the welcome. As Tuscans from a seaside location, we greatly appreciated. Absolutely to try !!!
