Great location with a few small tables outside if you are lucky enough to grab one! Enough vegetarian choices to keep us happy. Substantial serves and very cheap. Definitely recommend!

After visiting the Royal Palace and Cathedral, fancies something to eat. Got hassled by the 2 restaurants near the Cathedral, then came across this small eatery opposite the old National Library. Good prices as you can see from their leaflet I have attached. Food was good and freshly prepared for you. Beer 66cls for €2.50 was also a good price.

I was fit to drop after hours of sightseeing and needed a bit of sustenance to keep me going. This place, close to the cathedral, ticked all the boxes at €2 for a really tasty ham and cheese sarnie and an extra €1 for a bottle of water. These prices are cheap by any standards but, in a capital city, they really take some beating especially as everything is freshly prepared whilst you wait so you know exactly what you’re getting. Excellent.

Panino con milza e panino crochette e melanzane are out of this world, so cheap lovely owner you can watch it make fresh panelle

This is a small outlet but very strategically placed as one walks towards the Palermo Cathedral with tables outside in the busy street. Very friendly service; did not mind my asking my many questions about Palermo street food. Everything fresh prepared in front of you. I had the local speciality a panino with panelle and crocche. It was good, very filling and very cheap.
