We stopped there, because we saw many locals eating paninis and drinking beer, which was the best encouragement for us to step-in. We were not dissapointed, we tried delicious kebab panini for only 3euro, filled with one of the best kebab meet we have tried except maybe for the Berlin one . Next day we came back and ate the same. On the 3rd day we have finally decided to take Antipasti Siciliani for only 7euro. We were not dissapointed see the pics ! The owner was very nice and friendly, he recongnised us and always remembered that one of us doesn 't eat tomatoes Senza pomodoro, Madame? . If we ever come back to Palermo, we would shurely eat in this place.
We asked if they provided La Stigliola and he said he did not have. We also said that we could not find it anywhere! He told us to go back the day after and he would cook it for us. We went and we ate it, and even though it was good, we felt that it was not really stigliola. We showed the photo to our hotel staff later and they told us that that is DEFINITELY not Stigliola! It would have been much better to tell us that you were going to give us something similar, rather than fool us in this way!
We were four persons wanting a lunch stop after the tile museum in the same street. This modest little eatery fitted the bill. Anti pasta was delicious as was peach that followed. Boss and his young assistant made us feel welcome and gave good service. Young assistant is good with the photo shots.
