Service was good in a mechanical way, I missed the human touch, especially as this restaurant is pushing itself as a bib gourmand in the Michelin guide. I’ve had better experience in a local Michelin guided restaurant. Overall I felt like I was eating in an upmarket fast food restaurant. Particularly for the way the service was handled.
They try to be an exclusive restaurant with different steps menu that u can choose for. But they never explain the plates when they arrives they serve every single step in a hurry looking forward that you live the table fast . The wine advise does not exist. To sum up its an expensive local food restaurant with good quality normal Sicilian food. With no creativity.
We have visited quite some restaurants noted by Michelin in Sicily during our two-week stay. Buatta stands at the top of our list. The bucatini con sarde, the pork and the sausages were phenomenal. The service was good and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We will definitely visit this restaurant again during our next stay in Palermo.
Friendly local staff, qualified, what to say,pasta with sublime sarde, all cooked at the time that it is not from everyone, I will soon return to try the degotation menu of which I heard speak well, congratulations to the chef.
