Trattoria La Mia Sicilia

Having found this restaurant on Google, when we arrived it was no longer the same place but under new ownership… we had driven an hour and decided to stay for the food…. We wanted lobster and unfortunately it’s not on the menu, we instead opted for steak… my partner had the steak with rocket and Parmesan, whilst I went with fillet with a porcini mushroom sauce… the sauce was good, flavoursome and seasoned well, the fillet cooked to perfection…. My partner ordered her steak medium and was slightly undercooked, it had good seasoning and a mature taste… we got sides of fries and sweet potato fries.. both were great, the service was good too, we sat on the veranda overlooking the street… and took in the sunset…. Upon leaving I got chatting to the owner, she had just left the uk, she’s lived here for 10 years before the opportunity to purchase her own place in Sicily… she gave recommendations of places for us to visit… amazing service… great place..

A cosy restaurant served by very friendly and helpful staff. The food was delicious and freshly cooked. A varied menu with reasonable prices. We will definitely visit again.

A great traditional meal ! Lovely donkey pulpette as starter and stinco di Maiale as a main ! Definitely not to be missed if you make it to Palazzolo Acreide

Ravioli al sugo di maiale e salsiccia di Palazzolo assolutamente squisiti. Vale la pena andarci apposta
