Kosta's Gyros - Palatine

I haven't been here in ages! My dad always used to take me and my siblings here when we were kids. Im from Round Lake and I was out in Palatine for the day and I have been craving a gyro for a very long time because it has been maybe years since ive had one. I decided to try Kostas and im so glad I did. I was greeted by a very nice cashier girl who smiled and was very cheery and sweet! She put my order in fast and was very nice the whole time throughout. My food came out in no more than 5 minutes and I was a little iffy about it tasting bad if it came out that fast but boy was I wrong! The cooks were all very nice handing me my food as well. I got to my car and took a bite out of my gyro and it was the best thing ever!! The pita bread was so soft, the meat was so good and the I usually never add the sauce but I did this time and it was so yummy! Im so happy with this place and will be doing a 40 minute drive again to come and eat here. Thank you Kostas!!!

I’ve been visiting Kostas since the late 80’s! They have the best Greek chicken!! I haven’t been there for a few years, and my sister and I went for lunch. The chicken was a delicious as I remembered! the minute you put in your order it’s up and ready within 3 minutes (depending on what you order). They are really quick to get your order to you! I hope to go back again maybe this summer. keep up the great work!!

We used to live in Palatine and yesterday I was near so I took my son to my fav toasted Chelsey beef place! He loved it and I brought a sandwich home for my husband to. He was so happy! We don't have a Kosta's in Lake Villa! It's more than good! Will return every time we go to Palatine area!!!

Yummy !!! My brother lives in Wisconsin. When he travels down to Illinois he stops at Kosta's for a gyro. In fact, he takes orders for gyros from the folks in his neighborhood and ends up taking 12+ sandwiches back with him. THAT is how great Kosta's food is!!! Famously fabulous!

They make an amazing Gyro, best I've ever had. I'll return every time I'm in the area.
