Centennial Restaurant - Pakenham

We occasionally order dinner from this place to pick up on our way home. Sometimes it's really good! Other times it's mediocre at best. I think it depends on who may be working in the kitchen. That being said, the owner works the morning shift...and always serves a good breakfast

We have been to the Centennial House restaurant several times in the past with family members, but have not been there for several years. Upon entering the restaurant at o’clock noon for lunch, a very noticeable order of bathroom and stale grease greeted us....We should’ve turned around at this point, but we were quite hungry and decided to persevere. The server was pleasant and seated us immediately, and brought water as requested. The water had a very unpleasant odour and taste. If this was tapwater, the restaurant should recognize this and spend a few dollars on some decent bottled water. We ordered off the menu, nothing complicated, just burger and fries, fish and chips, and wraps, and even though the restaurant was not busy when we got there and placed our order, it took close to minutes to arrive. All the food was less than average in taste, (any fast food chain burger much better, and a wrap from Subway probably twice as good) and and the burger and fish and chips were just barely warm. We were also disappointed with the prices we paid for the very substandard food. Our suggestion to anyone thinking of eating here is to drive another minutes to Almonte where there is a good selection of restaurants. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and courteous

Centennial Restaurant in Pakenham Ontario Canada is a cute small gem. This restaurant has a lot of food choices so it can accommodate different food allergies as well. The pizzas are a great choice off the menu. If you are gluten free and health conscious...like me the salad I got was enjoyable and packed with good healthy food for me. To top it off after the meal there are many delicious dessert choices to choose from. I highly recommend the homemade ice cream but there are many other choices. Please stop by this restaurant

A lucky happenstance found us in Pakenham, hungry and ready for a break. In the center if this quaint town we found this old school diner. Friendly service from the get go we were quickly greeted, told to make ourselves comfortable and served coffee. Okay...it was run of the mill coffee but all was forgiven when our meals came out quickly and smelling marvellous. My husband had the club sandwich. It was thick with real chicken, fresh crunchy lettuce and perfect bacon all on great bread. I had their burger special and it was spectacular with the best french fries I have had in ages. The locally made pickles were amazing. Portions were generous. I got a sneak peak at our neighbours’ spaghetti and wow! Looked and smelled fabulous. A great spot that I know we will return to

Every time in Pakenham, I try to stop at the Centennial It offers home made food style breakfast lunch and early dinner. You can't go wrong
