Chokchai Steakhouse (pak Chong)

Been here 6+ years ago and again last week. Nothing has really changed. Would have been nice to have just one vegetarian meal for the person that gets dragged here every time. Apart from that, looks like a typical steakhouse. Not much to really say on the place.

They changed the menu. No more, ribeyes, sirloin, etc. cost around 6-700 bht. If you order beef steak, the min price is 1,200 bht. No phone charge service. Staffs are old and doesn't show service mind. Menu, only scanning from your mobile. If you say no, they give the tablet. Menu has few pictures. You can't find the menu that you are familiar. They bring the fresh beef and put them on the table. 200 g piece comes with price tag at 2,300 bht. they said, it's set of steak, soup, salad, bread and 1 scoop of ice cream. This is our first trip back after covid, and I won't come back anymore.

I had no chance to come back because of the pandemic. although the taste is still delicious and tasty. the bark steak is so juicy.

We ordered a dried age steak which wasn't really that good. For the price of 2xxx we were expecting a much better quality. The service was also really bad also the staff were not friendly and it feels like we have to beg for everything.

After the visit of the dairy farm was our first large holding place the chokjai steak house. it lies directly on the south side of the autobahn. So when they travel to the east, they have to go on and take the first U-turn to get to the restaurant. the steakhouse itself is part of a larger ensemble of buildings that form the chokjai farms. we were only interested in the restaurant. when they first go into them, they will notice that the restaurant has a rustic fill to it. there are the typical foyer areas with various items for sale. the walls have dark branches hanging on them with bark skull. it immediately reminded me of the American west. there are trees in the main thinning areas that there is a very inviting look when they enter. other areas of the building had stones with dark gray, gold and dark copper color. it really reminded me of something I would see in colorado. the wall has selected pictures of western film icons, like john wayne. everything in all it was a very good experience and something unexpected. in relation to dinning the group ordered a T-bone, porter house and lachs. the steaks arrived with some sweet, kartoffel and a small salat. I liked the T-Bone steak best. another delicious product I ordered was the beef sausage. I thought this court was excellent. I would say the prices were somehow expensive, but it really didn't distract from my entire experience. we do not eat here every day and it was safe to eat a great place for a holiday or special meal. the whole group enjoyed the meal, so I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good steak or bark sausage in the opposite. bonus, they have no rehearsals, but I took a chance and bought a small pack of their smoked smokers. it was delicious and everyone in the group that tried to agree. Finally we filled it with some of their homemade ice cream. I got the chocolate and thought it was good, very creamy.
