Root House Coffee Shop - Pagosa Springs

Fantastic coffee shop, with great coffee and pastries. The pastries sold out every day we went, but everything we tried was great. Would recommend, especially early for the delicious cinnamon rolls or kolaches.

YuM! If there’s a line don’t be discouraged…it’s worth the wait and you’re bound to meet someone friendly while hanging out in the line. The coffee is delish and there are plenty of other Beveridge options to wet your whistle. The chicken salad was delish. There are plenty of food options but get there early as they’ll run out fast! Update we had the southwest quiche and the sausage biscuit bite. Highly recommend both! Parking: You can park in the street or pull down the street just before the building and there’s parking below.

The perfect coffee shop. Great ambiance. Service was fast and helpful. They make their own syrups and a lot of their baked goods. We tried their donuts and they were delicious paired with a cappuccino. I would recommend making the stop here.

Enjoyed this stop here for my morning coffee. We tried several things. They were all good but we suggest the sausage biscuit bite. Was delish. However this column is not centered under the support beams so it had the whole thing feeling off.

We ate here for breakfast while we stayed at the Pagosa hot springs. The location of convenient if staying at the resort. Its a 5 minute walk across the bridge. The atmosphere is layed back and the patio over looks the hot springs mineral pools. My wife ordered a plain coffe and a lemon/blueberry muffin. That muffin was so moist and has lots of blueberries. I had a ham cheese Kolache, which I also highly recommend. I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast and coffee.
