Gustoso Italiano - Pagosa Springs

We come through Pagosa Springs once every 2-4 months and we usually eat at Gustosos! We have never been disappointed in anything! The food is consistently tasty but this time the Veggie Pesto was so rich and flavorful! Their Caesar salad is special with homemade dressing. We also had the Aglio spaghetti veggie with chicken and zucchini noodles instead of pasta. This dish was also delicious! The staff is always attentive and efficient even when they get a rush of customers. The atmosphere is modest but welcoming and feels very Italian and prices are very reasonable. You can't go wrong making this restaurant a regular part of your dining experience!

Nothing is made from scratch. Sauce tastes like can. Salad is precut bag salad. Our was pass it date it was very brown. Staff was friendly and good.

We have eaten here a lot of times but the service last night was absolutely horrible. We took some family there and waited 15 mins and had to ask where our server is. He finally came over and we ordered our food then another 15 -20 mins no salad no bread while people came in 20 mins after us we’re getting instant service from other servers then we sat for another 15 mins so we asked for more bread and was delivered burnt garlic sticks you couldn’t even bite into them, By the time we got our dinner we had been in there for over 1 1/2 hours while other people that came in before us came and went. Nothing like trying to keep a tired baby from losing it. Worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant.
