Captain D's - Paducah

I visited this place for the first time in about 35 years, and it tasted just as I remembered. The food is delightful, and Paducah is fortunate to have a Captain D's.

Checkout was friendly and greeted us at the entrance. Food was good and hot! They even came to our table to see if we need anything. Also thanked us for our business as we left. Very nice experience.

Always great food, great service and it is clean. I make repeated visits here!

I visited this restaurant last week and tried the fish and shrimp. The fish has changed over the years, so I'm curious to see how it is now. Tomorrow, I'll be trying the chicken and shrimp for myself, and I'll also check to see if they have hush puppies for the cat.

The prices are fair, and there always seems to be a couple of really good specials. Our food was cooked to order delicious, side portions were good. Even the hush puppies, cooked to a light golden brown, were very good, not hard and crunchy as is often the case in seafood chains. It's a chain, a popular one. This store seemed to be working hard to present a clean and orderly, bright atmosphere. We enjoyed it very much, dining in!
