The Seafood - PADSTOW

The food was delicious, the staff was warm, friendly and helpful and the ambiente in the restaurant is wonderful. I've eaten here many times and never got disappointed.

Rick Stone, a well-known figure in Cornwall for dining and other ventures. What is the point of having their name on a restaurant when they don't actually cook? The food I tried last week was satisfactory, but the lobster didn't taste like lobster and the John Dory seemed uninspired. Sorry, Mr. Stone, but I wasn't impressed! They should consider updating their signs.

The accommodations were satisfactory. However, the dining experience at the seafood restaurant fell well short of expectations and was very disappointing. The Dover sole had traces of blood on the plate and was accompanied by unremarkable flavors. The restaurant seemed to be overhyped and overpriced. We will not be returning and would not recommend it to others.

This is Rick Stein's restaurant. We had a great dining experience here at reasonable prices. The meal we had was fantastic, with high-quality ingredients well-prepared and presented beautifully. It's definitely worth a visit, you don't even need to book for lunch during the season.
