Contribuiți la feedbackIn a very suggestive area of Padua, crossing the door of this place you will find yourself in a small court that remembers Greece in everything and for everything. The warmth of Kostas and Anna is something magical and enveloping and thanks to their love for hospitality they manage to make to forget a few pieces here and there (perhaps prices a little bit 'altini for the amount of food). Of course, if you are looking for composure and seriousness you are away, but if you want to spend a pleasant evening imagining to be on Hellenic soil is the place for you!
My girlfriend and I were going to La Plaka because he had now lived in Italy for some months and although we love italian food, we wanted a change. Overall, we thought La Plaka was one of the best restaurants we have ever gone to. Not only is the restaurant in itself very cosy and nice, the waiters very exceptional in their job of explaining the menu and made us overall feel very welcome. The food was also so good, we had the antipasti shared plate, the regular moussaka and the dish with wine-cooked pork with rice (don’t remember the name of the dish), with tzatziki and an eggplant sauce as sides. Everything served was so freshly made and tasted so good, we were truely blown away. We also got two complimentary greek wines on the house, which was such a nice touch. Overall our visit to La Plaka was without a doubt a 10/10, so we both highly recommend it if you are looking for an authentic greek restaurant in Padova.
The owners are very Nice (Actually so nice that it's very difficult to write a bad review). But if (like me) you're looking for a place to eat a generous greek food... then it's definitely not the place!
