Contribuiți la feedbackUnforgettable experience in the splendid padova. excellent raw materials and cooked in a sublime way. not to miss their revisitation of calcium and pepper. incredible location, nice and elegant . when it enters it is immediately an emotion. . precise service
Pampered at lunch, we were greeted by a welcome prosecco and also in the end do not miss cadeau. Yes, he eats divinely and is greeted by obsolete and supergentile staff.
This restaurant is very pretty. But all three of us dining together felt the atmosphere was far better than the food. It also struck us that they were understaffed since the service was good, but not great. We had to ask for water twice before it arrived. And we decided to pour our own wine since that service happened only half the time we needed our glasses refilled. The meal itself was adequate; fine, but nothing we thought was particularly delicious. Given the reputation and reviews, we all expected excellent food, but everything was simply satisfactory. We come to Italy regularly and basically feel as if we always can find first-rate food by following recommendations from websites like TripAdvisor for restaurants that have hundreds of positive reviews and are highly ranked in their cities. This was the first time in decades that process misled us; the reviews did not match the food. The menu was uninspired, and the preparations were plain. We tried the octopus (cooked to perfection, but not very flavorful), the fried vegetables (far too much for an appetizer for one or even two; there was enough for four people), the risotto (I make it better myself), and two other pastas that were fine, but nothing we would order again. Had we gone to a local bistro without a top-flight reputation, that may have been expected. But for the prices and the ranking, we were thinking we were going to have a grand dinner. Nope. Overall, this was very disappointing—especially after having had a fabulous meal for half the price the prior evening at another highly-ranked, but more casual restaurant in Padua. Perhaps Belle Parti was grand in the past, but it came across as tired and “phoned in.”
We experienced also this year an excellent dinner, served in a modern and fine way. Tastes, smells and colours were all in harmony. Very professional staff. Might just serve the wine a bit more generously.
Excellent experience from start to finish. The setting is very attractive, service is superb—they even have someone to translate Italian menu into English and explain how dishes are prepared—and food is very tasty. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the experience.
