Amazing food! The chowder bread bowl was to die for!

I got fish and chips to go and they are top notch! Delicious golden crispy and amazing. My wife's complaint is that the fries weren't salted enough but I actually really liked them the way they were. I will certainly be back when visiting Monterey!

Came here for a light lunch after visiting the aquarium. Ordered the clam chowder and it was the best I’ve ever had! The service was also excellent.

Visiting from San Diego and arrived 30mnts before closing. Staff was kind and took my order. Great food, the clam chowder is one of the best in town. It's in my top 3! Will come back on our next trip! Highly recommend and a home vibe.

Vivolo’s Chowder House was recommended by a local. We were impressed with the service, cleanliness, food quality, food portions and taste. Our boys each ordered off the Kid’s menu chicken tenders and grilled cheese,they both took home to go boxes. My mother in law and I ordered the clam chowder. It was phenomenal! My wife ordered the roasted turkey and salad, which she fully enjoyed. We were celebrating our son’s 11th birthday, as a treat they served him the most amazing freshly made cheesecake. He let us all try a small piece and immediately I had to impose a dad tax of 3 more bites. I wish I had taken a photo of our food for this review. I seldom write positive reviews because it is those negative interactions we seem to remember and we want to warn others of experiencing, but everyone should know about this positive experience.
