Party of seven on a Thursday evening. Friendly and attentive service. Delicious dinners, almost everyone ordered a different dish. Calamari steak, pollo parmigian, chicken marsala, paella, butternut squash ravioli, and grilled chicken. All were excellent!
Good breakfast (I had crab benedict) and friendly staff. Would like to come back for dinner or lunch sometime. Cute atmosphere which goes for the entire Pacific Grove area!
Wow! I'll stop with the Rachel Ray references now. My partner and I visited Pacific Grove after a day of sightseeing along Hwy 1. We had previously been to Mauricio on a trip to Monterey and Asilomar and enjoyed a great breakfast. When we got hungry, we wanted to go back for dinner, but unfortunately they were closed. While waiting, we enjoyed the local farmers market outside. We wished we lived nearby so we could buy some organic mushrooms and fresh flowers. Eventually, the restaurant opened and we were the first customers. The diner is small but cozy and friendly. We noticed a new Spanish menu and I had the Chicken Fajitas with Mango Salsa, which was delicious. My partner had the fish and chips, which he described as fresh and perfectly crispy. We were sad to leave Pacific Grove and wished we could be locals. We'll definitely be back to Mauricio's soon. Thank you for having us again.
We had an amazing experience at this restaurant in Pacific Grove. The Butternut Squash Ravioli and Rigatoni with meatballs were the best we have ever had. The atmosphere was relaxed, the service was friendly, and the food was served hot with minimal wait time. The bread was also incredibly delicious. We will definitely be coming back here next time we are in Pacific Grove.
