Little Chicken House - Pacific Grove

Great place! The most delicious ribs I've ever tried. There's half a rack on the picture, but I've already eaten a little, so it's even more. Really chip for such a huge part! Ask for the sauce for the ribs, it is a perfect combination. The place doesn't look, but people come here for delicious food not for the atmosphere!!! I'd say half the rack would be enough for two people. We spent 28 per person for ordering two beers and 2 half rack sections of ribs.

Be ready to wait, but be ready to wait for your waiting with tasty ribs and chicken (and other things, but what I got) chicken and ribs were both falling off the bone. The sauce was delicious, not spicy, not too tender. I recommend stopping it.

Solid BBQ food with large portions and reasonable prices. Besides, it's the only ride in town. BBQ sauce is a little in thin size. I'll take it home and add my own sauce.

I bought the two-way combo with ribs, chicken, macaroni and cheese and frits. The ribs were absolutely great, falling-the-bone style and the sauce was a sweet and smoky sauce that had a tomato taste on it. The chicken was excellently baked and the chicken skin with its sauce was amazing. In contrast, the macaroni, cheese and pommes, in my opinion, were bad, they could use work. The macaroni and the cheese were slightly tasteless, the tasty taste was not as prominent as in my hometown Mac and cheese. The frits were simple and were in desperate need of salt and ketchup. I usually like to eat my fries with salt, but that was not possible with them. My plate simply showed what the restaurant has more time and effort. Granted, for Thanksgiving I had higher expectations, but the meat they serve there will definitely return a reason for me. 4/5.

This has been a required stop each visit for decades. We always look forward to a ribs, chicken, fries and beans meal down at the beach across from the golf course. Now, my granddaughters have grown and made Little Chicken House a ritual visit. We’ve gotten to know and talk to the owner over the years. Portions and prices are perfect. Wood smoked ribs and chicken have always been appreciated. The drive through is quirky but this place proves sometimes the “hole in the wall” places are best. Ocean, arts and Little Chicken House on the beach. The best of California!
