Village Inn Pace

Any time I have been here to eat, I'm with my family it's always been good service. No issue's with the food I have ordered each time I have been. I come here for breakfast and love the avocado toast and the spinach omlet. The coffee here is actually one of the best coffees here and I did a read on there coffee as well. Not bitter or weak it's just right. No after taste unlike some coffee brands or no issue's of acidic for me of any kind. Definitely try there coffee out too a long with there pie's. Pies are definitely good. Overall no complaints.

We stopped in for pie and coffee, the young man working said he's by himself, save the kitchen staff. He's working his hardest and I give him credit for showing up and getting things done. Aside from ours, he had two tables of about 6 each at various stages of ordering. I'm happy you were there tonight, young man. Keep up your good work.

My dad always has the lemon meringue pie on his birthday. Mom used to make it, but since we discovered the Village Inn, she no longer has to. It is tart and sweet and the crust is flaky! The servers are always wonderful and I love that I can order the whole pie ahead of time and just swing by and grab it!!

A great place to stop off for a relax and refuel during a shopping trip or after a social meeting. Friendly atmosphere set amongst relaxing and understated decor that provides an upmarket vibe without making you wish you were dressed in your Sunday best. The service is slower than a Waffle House but the menu is more expansive and of slightly higher quality (not to demean the quality of Waffle House cuisine). A nice mid-point between roadhouse fare and a full on restaurant. Price wise it falls just inside the diner/Cafe range but maybe on the expensive side for regular lunch venue. They have nicer pancakes than IHOP. But that's just my opinion.

My mother and I went out for dinner and had a gift card that covered only $25 of the bill. My mother wanted to pay the remaining amount with a credit card, but the server at our table was unable to process it because she didn't have a manager's PIN number. When we inquired about the manager, we were told that there was no one on site. As a result, I had to sit and wait while my mother went to a nearby Publix to withdraw cash from the ATM to cover the difference. This situation reflects poor management on their part. The service and food were fine, but it’s hard to believe that a restaurant could operate without a manager present. Village Inn, you really need to improve in this area.
