The burger was served with large fries, though they weren’t steak fries. I found the honey mustard a bit too sweet for my taste; I prefer a tangier option with a bit of a kick. We also ordered the risotto fritters, which were delightful, especially with the pickled peppers. The green tomato cake was not only delicious but also visually appealing. It reminded me of a denser carrot cake but in a pale green hue, topped with buttercream frosting. The peanut butter tart was decadently rich and loaded with peanut flavor, but it was a bit too indulgent for one person to handle alone. Overall, we left happy and plan to return. The walls are adorned with historical photos of the Mill, adding a nice touch to the ambiance.
The menu is concise, offering a manageable variety of options. It may not be the cheapest outing, but the quality of food and service makes it worth it. Our waitress was excellent, consistently checking in and keeping our drinks full. My wife ordered the shrimp and grits, which she thoroughly enjoyed. I tried the catfish and was pleasantly surprised by how mild it was; my wife even took a bite and liked it. She also enjoyed my coleslaw. The salt and vinegar potatoes were tasty but a bit too much for me to finish. For dessert, we had the peanut butter tart with a toffee sesame drizzle. Wow, just wow! They’re still developing their long-term plans and have some exciting things in store for this former mill, so I’m sure they’ll continue to grow in popularity. I’m already looking forward to my next visit the next time we’re in the area.
I visited this restaurant tonight and I was very impressed. The decor, ambiance, staff, and food were all fantastic. The cuisine is exceptional, with unique flavors and spices that really stand out. If you're vegan, vegetarian, or gluten-free, this place is perfect for you as they can accommodate various dietary needs. The taste combinations were surprising and delightful, making it a must-try. Plus, you can dress casually; there’s no need for formal attire. While it is a bit pricey, the quality of the food and drinks makes it worth it. I definitely plan to return for lunch and can't wait to try everything on the menu!
We had a fantastic lunch date there on our way to Branson. The atmosphere was delightful, and the patio view was incredible! Our waitress, Danielle, was incredibly sweet and made excellent recommendations. The food and cocktails were delicious; the shrimp and grits and the chicken sandwich were the best I’ve ever had! Dessert was equally scrumptious. This will definitely be our go-to spot on future trips! The prices were reasonable, so I’m giving it a solid 5 stars!
What a fantastic place! The atmosphere is truly unique, set in an impressively well-preserved historic building. The farm-to-table food and cocktails were absolutely delicious. My family hails from Alaska, so we know what seafood should taste like, but we rarely order it at restaurants due to many past disappointments. My mom was thrilled when the server asked her how she'd like her fish cooked, and it was cooked to perfection!
