Sands Cafe Catering - Ozark

Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted with a heavy grease/smoke smell from the kitchen venting into the eating area. The dining area is very “busy” with decorations. Our waitress was really good! She got our orders immediately and brought our food very quickly. I’d say we had our orders in less than 15 minutes after arriving. That being said….the reason we got our food quickly was probably because most of it was pre-made. The biscuits were dry and the gravy was from a packet. Not a lot of flavor. Hashbrowns were extra crispy as ordered. Sausage patty….uhm…definitely not hand pattied. Not much flavor and a weird rubbery consistency. As much as I love to support local…I think we’ll choose elsewhere next time.

After waiting for 10 minutes to even be recognized by our server at Rosie Jo's we left and went down the street to Sands Cafe. We were immediately greeted and had drinks within a minute. Very busy, took a while to get our food but was worth the wait. Highly recommend the sweet potato biscuit if you like something a little sweet in the morning. Service and food were great. Staff very friendly.

Best homemade breakfast in Ozark Missouri. Eggs bacon and biscuits and gravy. Yum

This is one of our favorite places to eat. Food is great, atmosphere is awesome and friendly staff. Can't ask for anything more.

Owner is the cook. 3 out of 5 she will get your egg order wrong at breakfast.
