Affordable. Yummy. And fast service. Don't walk, run to Henry's.

The food is good. The greens are a little too sweet and the sweet potato pie is a little too nutmeg forward for my preferente, but as a whole, everything was fine. I will visit again.

It's a sweet spot for anyone who wants to get away from it all for a spell. The food exceeded my expectations as we were passing through and just needed a square meal after not eating all day due to traveling to a somber event. This Cafe however did brighten our day with its nostalgic music piping through the establishment. I heard a soulful tune I hadn't heard since I was a child and immediately joined in singing the chorus.The sister greeted us as we approached the counter with a beautiful smile. The order was delivered in a timely manner. I ordered the Turkey wings w stuffing and collard greens...all I needed was some Cranberry sauce and it would have been a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. My wife was pleased with her chicken and stuffing entree as well.We must return to experience this hidden gem of a restaurant.

My family came after landing at DCA to enjoy some soul food the five of us (My 15,13,11 yrold boys, their 4 yr old sister and I) ate two meals together and it was AMAZING!!! We’ll be coming back and bringing more family next time we’re in town!
