Anaba Sushi - Oxnard

Absolutely incredible. The sushi is phenomenal, both for sashimi and for roles. Many baked / roasted rolls that are not raw for picker eaters. And the best thing is that they offer REAL wasabi!! If you never tried, it's just worth it, but expect a wait, the locals love it here and come in the Trieben.

Great sushi, the tuna lava roll is amazing. minus 2 stars however, because lots of polystyrene packaging and single use plastic waste (bags, straw, cutlery, sauce).

The food here was really good, I wasn't in many places out here, but one of my favorite places for sushi. The Udon they had was also really delicious with a lot of Umami. I tried her white jasmine flower tea and it was very hot and relaxing. Overall a really good experience. Would definitely recommend everyone in the mood for Japanese food, sushi or Udon. I have to try the rest of their menu again. Depending on where you sit (if you are on the back of the restaurant), you have a really nice view of the port.

I just moved here and found my place for sushi! If you try this place for the first time, make sure you dive for your first experience. The ambience is really pleasant and the staff is just the right amount of professional mixed with fun. You won't regret it.

My husband and I go here all the time. It's one of the best sushi restaurants in Ventura county. They can get a little expensive but not much more than other sushi restaurants. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
