The Ole Dog Tavern - Oxford

Just purchaded $50 giftcard and didnt notice until I got outside that the giftcard was scratched up, and seemed to be just reloaded with my $50. This is a gift, and I cannot believe that they are so cheap to give a customer an already used gift card. Very uncaring and unprofessional.

Went here with a group of about 10.The service is good, drinks arrived fast. Appatizers were solid calamari was like eating a rubber band, the nachos good (upcharge for a small cup of guac). Entrees looked good and generally quite good it took about 5 mins for all of the entrees to arrive at the table; a bit disappointed there. Largest disappointment was their use of the fryer my grilled chicken dish came...fried. it was about the only non fried or greasy option on the menu (or so I thought)Overall not bad menu changed for the worse lately and the food is ok at best. It will get the job done for a casual night out and a decent drink or two don't expect anything amazing.

Casual pub setting with good food. Nice place to meet friends for a drink and a decent meal that won't break the bank.

I've been visiting the Oxford House Tavern since July of this year, going once a week with my family. The food is absolutely delicious! The service is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly professional, attentive, and always makes you feel welcome. I love this place and would recommend it to everyone!

I've been a regular at this place for nearly two years, and I can confidently say that no other staff compares to the friendliness, enthusiasm, and hospitality of the team here. The Ole Dog never fails to impress. I’m really looking forward to enjoying my time here as they transition to the Oxford House Tavern after Labor Day! The new direction for the restaurant promises to please long-time Ole Dog Tavern fans while offering a fresh and updated atmosphere.
