Books Brews - Oxford

I highly recommend checking out Church St Social! The food is decent, with the buffalo cauliflower being a standout. The drinks are a bit pricey, but the atmosphere is fun and perfect for trivia nights. You can also enjoy a humble martini here that will hit the spot.

Aka church street social now! The food options I've tried are fine, they aren't anything special and there just are better choices of places to eat in Oxford. However, their drinks are good, they have a nice selection. My most recent fav find is their espresso martini. The environment is also casual and cute, it's a chill place to hang out. Appreciate their patio because there aren't a ton of outdoor places to eat/drink in Oxford!!!

I believe this restaurant is actually Church St. Social. The bartender was unable to make a Manhattan and I was charged for it when I requested a different drink. The outside tables were all empty with dirty dishes and trash scattered on them, so I had to sit indoors on a beautiful evening. It's disappointing that Oxford doesn't seem to take pride in its restaurant choices.

This restaurant is a great spot for drinks and brunch with friends! The drinks and food are fantastic. I particularly enjoy the cauliflower wings and often order them through DoorDash. The only reason I am not giving five stars is because they have a policy of only allowing one drink to be purchased at a time. While I understand their concern about binge drinking, it can be inconvenient to have to wait in a long line for each 8oz drink I want to have.

This place is garbage. Their naan flatbread is literally worse than a children's lunchable. My friend almost threw up on the table when she ate this soggy disgrace. It was also covered in unmelted cheddar cheese. The food here is literally not at all worth your money.
