The Devonshire - Oxford

Definitely a pub for the indie crowd. Underground music played all night, and with information on whats playing at the local independent movies or theatre. This place is off the beaten track down rectory road off cowley rd. but a great pub for those skinny fit jeans. A great beer gardens that is accessible day or night.

It is my favourite pub. Huge garden, lovely people, nice beer selection, independent! A must for whoever lives in Cowley.

Best pub off of Cowley I'd say. Mostly a mix of people with decent tastes and a few of those older party weirdos who paint their faces and gyrate psychotically for the Cowley Carnival. Billiards in the back and a massive smoking patio. Definitely a good place to go if you're looking for decent conversation and not awful music. Wednesdays are a good night.

Wonderfully relaxed. Good vibe. Welcoming staff and management. A great place to meet up with friends. I hear Halloween is legendary here

Love everything about the Star staff are brilliant, drinks selection excellent, and venue is lovely inside and out.
