The Britannia Inn - Oxford

I had a table for me and my dancing booked. she had some hardships to manage the steps in the place, but once in us was in order. we saw a lively fire function and the table was clean. we had both fish and chips. the fish was well boiled and the teig was not too hard. I also liked the lemon wedge. the personal was attentive and friendly. a pleasant lunch.

We came for a late lunch and it was a really great experience! was a great atmosphere, beautiful and chilled, sitting outside with heating was the eating nice! we had amazing service of luke, nothing was too much effort for him, he also recognized my partner plate looked naked (Fussy-Esser and took out a lot of extras) and offered additional options for him. would recommend in any case! thanks for a nice lunch!

Staff were lovely and friendly. Food tastes nice. Roast potatoes not crispy, asked if I wanted sauce and then didn't bring it. Chips slightly under done. Pork was beautiful but no crackling. Definitely not a bad place to eat. Will go again.

Went there last week and had a good good time and meal. Hoped for a larger vegetarian meals, didn't feel like that was enough for the main vegetarian meal. Asparagus and basil pasta was without any special taste and too much pasta, the lentil pie was great tasting but again to small portion for vegetarian meal. But would recommend them!

Decent enough pub that serves a good guinness. I didn't eat here, so I can't say anything about eating. I will say that at 1:15 a.m. on Monday the pub was pretty busy and eating was a 45-minute waiting. the beer garden is pleasant enough.
